2011-10-28 “National Stakeholder Involvement in Curriculum Development – The Opportunities for Children's Palliative Care Education and Delivery in Ireland, affectionately known as the “IMPccP project”.

A team within the School of Nursing and Midwifery (www.nursing_midwifery@tcd.ie) were, in 2010, awarded funding from The Irish Hospice Foundation (www.hospice-foundation.ie/) to develop an inter-disciplinary education programme in children’s palliativecare. This funding responded to the Department of Health & Children and The Irish Hospice Foundation Report (2005) which identified the need for the development of children's palliative care services and to the Department of Health & Children Report (2009) for the development of children's palliative care inter-disciplinary education.
