Dr. Éadaoin Butler

Biography
Dr Éadaoin Butler was awarded a PhD in Health Science from the Liggins Institute at the University of Auckland New Zealand in 2021. Prior to this, Éadaoin received a MSc in Health Psychology from National University of Ireland Galway and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from University College Dublin.
Éadaoin is particularly interested in the views and experiences of healthcare service users and providers. She has expertise in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. She has researched topics including caregiver acceptance of early childhood obesity prediction, maternal views of vaginal seeding, and the experiences of people receiving abortion care in Ireland. Éadaoin joined the TCPHI team in October 2021 and is working with public health nurses in CHO 7 on a range of research projects relating to the roles of public health nurses in healthcare delivery.
